I was one of the many people oggling the new High Beam and Intense shadow pigments line on Moi Minerals Facebook page from the moment they were sneak peek'd. I liked most of the colors but I instantly fell in love with Kiwi Ninja - it looked like the perfect shade of green and I knew I had to get at least a small bit of it to try. So when they finally loaded everything onto the site I browsed around all the colors in the line (not all of them were previewed on the facebook page) and made my picks. Not until later that night did I check back only to find that there were MORE colors added! So naturally I had to go through the new ones and make more picks - Holly (the owner) was awesome to let me have a coupon code to eliminate shipping on the second one and put everything together as one order for me :) So I waited for my lovely little package to come in the mail and it finally came last week. I tried playing with the colors for a few days and found that some of them were a lot "dustier" than others. What I mean by that is some of them are very fine pigments that are ultra smooth and easy to apply, blend, and mix; while others are heavier, a bit chunky, harder to apply, and mix. These latter are the more sparkly of the two mind you so that may have something to do with it. They aren't impossible to apply, just a little trickier. I did find that 98% of the ones I got mixed very well wet and went on really well with a primer. Most I find didn't really stick when used on just dry skin or just over a colored base, I found that the base had to be sticky - so a primer or lotion worked best. Again that was just for me - it may be different for you, I don't know. Overall I really like these colors and I will definitely be wearing a lot of the colors on a regular basis.

Bad Ass

Moi: intense green with a bit of a purple shift
Me: I find this color came off on me as an intense green with a slight silver shimmer. I didn't really see the purple but it could have just been coming off as a light lavender silver in my lighting.

Moi: soft light pink
Me: This was one of the ones that was a bit harder to use.

Moi: sparkly kiwi lime with dual tones of pink
Me: I have worn this one a few times and I have a really hard time getting it to be really green. It is such a light shade of lime that it is hard to build up unless you have a green base underneath. I also found that this was harder to apply :(

Moi: white in appearance but becomes an intense light pink
Me: I agree completely with Moi on this one. Easy to apply, really easy to see the shift

Moi: high intense sparkle rosie mauve
Me: I found this one to be very true to color. The pictures dont really capture it but it is really a pink base mauve.

Moi: lovely shimmery blue
Me: Lovely indeed :) This one is a very interesting change from what you see in the jar but it is truly beautiful

Moi: whitish tone that turns into a light pink/lavender
Me: Yup, exactly

Moi: hot intense sparkle pink
Me: It is actually the bright pink as shown in the product photo - I just couldnt capture it

Moi: intense sparkly bronze with dual tones of gold
Me: I also agree with Moi's description but I did find a slight pink sheen to it as well

Moi: light ultra sparkly lavender blue
Me: A lovely duo-chrome that is exactly as it says

Moi: Intense Sparkly Med Silver with Dual tones of green
Me: This was another that was hard to work with. I didn't really see the green but that could be paid to my trouble working with it

Broken Heart (far right)

Moi: high intense sparkle pink/coral
Me: This is actually more true to the description and product photo but again I had a hard time capturing it

And now some lip gloss :)

Beyond Eternity

Lovely coral nude shade with heavy multi glitters

Chiller Attraction

Very nice pink with light colored shimmers

Left: Cupcake
Right: Cupcake mixed with Cherry Peep

Cupcake is a clear gloss loaded with so much multi tonal glitter it would make Rainbow Brite cry. Only downfall - trying to capture said glitter in photos.

Moi product photo for Cupcake

Naughty but Nice

A super bright pink with multi glitters

Paranormal

Bluebell purple with blue shift and glitters - buildable color :)

And now how about some of the Lip Balm Stick?

Sunset Blvd

Coral/orange Nude
Buildable color so it can be ultra sheer or very heavilly layered.

Dragon Fruit

More red based than Sunset Blvd but similar.
Buildable color again.

Both of these are very moisturizing :)

I would say to definitely try some of this line but go with your personal preferrence on application. Again, I found some to be harder to apply than others but I am persistant and will most likely perfect it in a while. If I find a super easy way then I will let you all know :).
